“…I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people…” (Luke 2:10)
“I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.” (Philemon 1:6)
It is inevitable that good news will get around – even to those who would be threatened by it. The Good News announced at Christmas is not set on a frequency audible only to those who would respond positively to it. The first message was shouted from the heavens, announced with a new star. Good News is flung to all corners for all who can hear. There is no hesitation as potential responses are considered; the truth of the message is just as naked as the child born to live it: The Savior has been born.
Do you know someone who doesn’t know the true meaning of Christmas? Or someone you believe has no interest in it? Listen to your heart and decide if you are being led to tell the real story of Christmas to one of these people.
